Ludica

Ludica is an interactive coaster set that sparks playfulness, invites conversation, and brightens the home. Inspired by the word "ludic" which means undirected playfulness, Ludica is the perfect gift for friends and loved ones who enjoy hosting and bringing people together. Individual pieces have the functionality to be used as coasters, while each piece can fit together in different ways and kindle imagination. Ludica's translucent colors dazzle in the light and adds an elegant touch to any light-filled space.

Overview

Starting from the initial ideation phase, through design and prototyping, to the final stages of manufacturing and sales, this project encompassed the complete lifecycle of a new product. While the project was highly collaborative in nature, I played a key role in concept development, branding, product management, and manufacturing.

Impact

As a team of four, we designed, manufactured, and sold 50 units of the product. In order to attact customers, we created an online store and instagram account, as well as spread the word through our family and friends. Thanks to the team's hardwork and support of our friends, we were able to SELL OUT at our annual holiday sales gala!
